Tory studied Planting Design at the London College of Garden Design (LCGD), graduating with distinction.  She also holds a diploma from The English Gardening School at the Chelsea Physic Garden.  She is passionate about plants and strongly believes in the health benefits of gardening and working with nature.

Prior to setting up Haydon Holder Studio, Tory worked in Financial Services Marketing in both the Corporate and Private Banking sectors.  She also practiced as a Chartered Surveyor - specialising in Commercial Real Estate in Central London - following a brief stint as a Chalet Girl in the Alps. 

Tory spends most of her free time in the garden.  She also loves to visit Switzerland – skiing in the winter and exploring the wildflower meadows in the summer.  Aside from her burgeoning gardening bookshelf, she finds inspiration in fabrics and fairy tales.
